Research direction: Analysis of perioperative risk factors in cardiovascular surgery and critically ill patients, brain protection in CPB, myocardial protective effect of drugs, influence of anesthesia drugs on genes related to tumor metastasis, development of new nano dosage forms of local anesthesia drugs, etc.
Xu is the Director of Pain Department, Department of Anesthesiology of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of 蘑菇传媒 School of Medicine, Director of Professional Base of Anesthesiology. She is also the Executive Director of Chinese Society of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia, a member of Cardiothoracic Group of Chinese Society of Anesthesiology, a member of Zhejiang Provincial Society of Anesthesiology, etc. In the past five years, she participated in the compilation of five national expert consensus books, the edition and translation of five books and chief-edited one book. She published nearly 30 papers in the Journal of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Chinese Medical Journal, Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology and BMC Anesthesiology. Focusing on education and teaching, and leading various projects (including some on educational reform), she has won the second prize of the first College Teacher Innovation Competition of 蘑菇传媒, and the Medical Ethics Award of 蘑菇传媒 in 2022 (ZJU Good Medical Care).
